Our keynote speaker, Nan Henderson, MSW, co-founder and President of Resiliency in Action, Inc will address how schools, families, and communities can build "Bounce-Back Kids."
Break-out sessions will address teen substance use and dating, teen dating violence in different cultures, how teens huse new technology in dating, and gang influence in teen dating. Continuing Education Units (CEU) will be available.
Topics include: domestic violence and brain development of children and adolescent exposed to violence.
Who should attend? Law enforcement, educators, counselors, social workers, probation officers, and community members.

The Healthcare Domestic Violence Network of Sacramento is hosting "The Impact of Domestic Violence Across the Lifespan",
a one-day conference providing the latest information on the effects of domestic violence on children, adolescents and
the elderly and disabled. Additional workshops will focus on risk assessment, working with perpetrators and prosecuting
elder abuse cases.
Who should attend? Health, social service and criminal justice professionals.
